The person behind the treatment.
Beauty+ Aesthetics is a small, appointment-only clinic in Ponsonby, run by Christie — a registered nurse, experienced aesthetician and cosmetic tattoo artist. Every consultation, every assessment and every treatment is done by Christie herself. You see the same person every visit.
Nurse-led, and that changes things.
Christie is a Registered Nurse holding a Master of Nursing Science (RN, MNSc). Injectables and advanced skin treatments are medical procedures, and a nursing background means they are treated that way — with a proper health history, an honest assessment of what is appropriate for you, and clear aftercare.

Honest advice about what will and will not work for you
Aftercare instructions, and someone to call if you have a question afterwards
Christie also works as a cosmetic tattoo artist, shaping and colouring brows and lips to suit the face rather than a template.
Sometimes the right answer is no.
I started this clinic because I wanted to offer aesthetic treatments the way I was trained to practise as a nurse: assess properly, explain honestly, and only treat when it is genuinely the right call.
That means I will tell you when a treatment is not going to give you the result you are hoping for, or when something simpler would work better. I would rather you left without a booking than left with a result you did not want.
The goal is always the same — you should look like yourself, rested and well, not treated.

What your first visit looks like.
1 · We talk first
You tell me what is bothering you and what you would like to change. I take a health history and look at your skin properly. No pressure, no upselling.
2 · A plan, with prices
I explain what I would recommend, what it will cost, what the results realistically look like and how long they last. If nothing is right for you today, I will say so.
3 · The treatment
Appointments are unhurried and one client at a time. Numbing where it is needed. I talk you through each step as we go.
4 · Afterwards
You leave with written aftercare and my contact details. If anything feels off in the days following, you contact me directly — not a call centre.

Beauty+ Aesthetics is upstairs at Cyan Hair & Beauty Salon, 12 Ponsonby Road, Auckland. It is appointment-only, which means no waiting room, no queue and no rushing — just your booking and an unhurried hour.
Parking is available on and around Ponsonby Road, and the clinic is a short walk from the Three Lamps end of the strip.
